If you're curious about the results from the survey from a few weeks ago, the Parks Department and Board will be back at the Senior Center tonight at 6 to present the results and answer any more questions you might have.
Head over to the library tomorrow with a crisp fiver and leave with whatever you can fit in a bag. Books, DVDs, magazines - Amazon has nothing on this kind of deal!
Following the discussion tonight, the Homewood Parks Department would like your input on what kind of aquatic facility would appeal to you in the pending Patriot Park addition. An online survey can be filled out from their website:

The meeting will be at Homewood Senior Center, and the public is invited to attend.

SATURDAY, APRIL 8 - Trinity's Easter Egg Hunt at Trinity West Homewood, Oakmont Campus, 10 AM - Noon - 5,000 eggs along with a bouncy house, petting zoo, and crafts. Complimentary kids' cups of Magic City Sweet Ice, too! - Easter Egg Hunt at Homewood CPC, 2-4 PM at Homewood Cumberland Presbyterian Church - 1,000 Easter eggs to be found, refreshments, fellowship, and a wonderful time! - Homewood Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Homewood Parks & Rec at West Homewood Park lower ball fields, 5:30-8:30 PM - Children will hunt for eggs with children of their own age group. SATURDAY, APRIL 15 - RABC Easter Egg Hunt at Raleigh Avenue Baptist Church, 10:30-11:30 AM - The hunt is for kids up to the 5th Grade and will take place in the lawn facing Raleigh Avenue. Did we miss your Homewood hunt? Please add it in the comments! The Wine 10K is quickly becoming a Birmingham tradition. It starts at Patriot Park on Saturday, March 11th @ 8am. The route sends runners through the streets around Patriot Park before spilling them out onto Greensprings and then finally ending the race with a cruise down Lakeshore Trail. The route through the neighborhood around Patriot Park is pictured below. If you think you would like to participate in the race, you can still sign up at www.wine10k.com.
