The Wine 10K is quickly becoming a Birmingham tradition.  It starts at Patriot Park on Saturday, March 11th @ 8am.  The route sends runners through the streets around Patriot Park before spilling them out onto Greensprings and then finally ending the race with a cruise down Lakeshore Trail.  The route through the neighborhood around Patriot Park is pictured below.  If you think you would like to participate in the race, you can still sign up at www.wine10k.com.

A fire broke out at a home on Oakmoor Drive and neighbors are now collecting gift cards for the family to help them on their journey back into a home again.  Target or Walmart girt cards are suggested and can be dropped off/sent to 625 Edgemoor Road, Homewood, AL  35209.
